Sagittarius New Moon

Our New Moon this month is in the sign Sagittarius, the sign of the Archer. Sagittarius also represents our higher mind; travel to far away places, literature, religion and philosophy. As always, look to the placement of the Lunation in your natal chart and the aspects it forms to the points in your chart to implement these New Moon energies in a more personal manner.

Along with the Sun and Moon at 5 degrees, we have Mercury and Mars at 6 and 8 degrees respectively. This stellium in the 9th sign of the Zodiac indicates that at this time we are offered opportunities to modify and focus our thoughts and the direction of those thoughts towards a manner that is congruent with the higher levels of consciousness and the highest good of all concerned. We may also find ourselves thinking about and creating travel plans for exploring new and different cultures and lands far from our homes!

Venus and Jupiter are conjunct in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo forms a trine to this conjunction. Uranus in Pisces–who moved direct shortly before the culmination of the New Moon–forms a sextile to Venus and Jupiter adding unique opportunity to this combination. Uranus has been hovering at 18 degrees of Pisces, notice where in you chart this point touches to experience the manifestation of a great awareness and awakening!

The Venus / Jupiter conjunction on its own brings the possibility for abundance, opportunities for Love and new relationships and in the sign of Capricorn, we will find ourselves proceeding with care in creating those opportunities. Uranus brings an aura of uniqueness and excitement in creating the aforesaid opportunities.

Pluto moved full force into Capricorn on November 26 at 10:02 PM, EST indicating a great beginning in the transformation of government and it’s structure, as we know it. This transformation will also have a great affect on what we–Humanity–will choose to create in regards to our goals from the collective unconscious level. This transit also brings transformation to big business (Capricorn)–as we have and are observing during these seemingly challenging economic times. We shall see what transformations in these arenas will come to pass as Pluto transits the 10th sign of the Zodiac until January 2024! I will elaborate on these transformations in my 2009 Predictions!

All planets are moving direct from November 27 through December 31, 2008–this period will seem as thought we moving at warp speed, hold on, we are certain to be in for an exciting ride. If it has seemed as thought our goals and objective have been delayed, notice what comes to pass during the time of our next Full Moon on December 12; we may be pleasantly surprise with our manifestations at that time.

On December 1, 2008 at sunset in the Northern hemisphere there will be a unique and beautiful arrangement in the early evening sky of the crescent Moon along with Venus and Jupiter (see illustration below).
